I met with Esther Yook today to discuss the software for the Speaking Center. I showed her the current site for the software and discussed with her some of the changes that I felt should be made. Here is a link to the site: Speaking Center Software . If any of y’all could take a look at the current version and let me know if y’all see any problems or any suggestions you have would be appreciated. I also spoke with Yook concerning storing the database on their server rather than build it on rosemary and then transferring it over, just encase some errors arise in the transfer. There was also some doubt on whom is responsible for actually integrating the software on the actually website. Yook also informed me that Jerry Slezak is taking Jim Groom’s position and that she will email him concern building the database on the correct server and the other technical questions I had. Yook will be e-mailing me the list of employees and their availability so I can begin to set up the database for the software. While I am waiting I’ve been reading different sites on setting up some type of schedule / appointment model using Mysql, PHP and probably JavaScript. I would like the calendar to display by week and list the slots in the schedule still available for students. Yook mention that she is the the most tech savy person, so I’m trying to keep the overall user interface for the database as simple as possible while still preforming the needed functions.
On a side note I made a bet with my friend Ashely ( aka Dolly) on the Super Bowl. She was for sure the Patriots would win, but I chose the underdogs, the Giants, and in the last few minutes they pulled it off and won. So now I get to pick the prize, I’m only looking to slight humiliate her, nothing degrading or anything. So if anyone has any ideas let me know.

This chick got the lyrics from Journey tattooed on her ribs, so I can’t be too mean to her cause the tattoo is awesome.
